★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this place and I must say whenever u try to book any hotel in ranchi,don't ever think to book this one. Very bad experience. Nothing is good here,and they are charging too high for this worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With dilapidated rooms, Pest infestation and ultra compact and unclean washrooms, Hotal Ashoka is the thing of the past. This hotel is running on two things 1) Past legacy 2) Prime Location.
1) two decade ago this hotel was lit but today I'll never recommend you to go there.
2) Prime location near Ranchi Railway Station, this is the sole reason they charge above average money for far below average facilities and services.
The behaviour of the receptionist was very bad when we asked for the receipt of the stay, which is our right. I suspect some tax evasion here.
Plus points are : 1) Generator facility is available in case of power cut which is actually very frequent even in the state capital
2) The behaviour of the man who showed us room (maybe he was the hotel manager) was good.
