★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My hunt for places that serve good, lip-smacking Misal continues and this time it has brought me to Dombivali East.
Ballaleshwar is located on one of the most prominent roads of Dombivali, Phadke Road.
Hotel Ballaleshwar was established by Late Maruti Raoji Gawde in the year 1952 at Ballalwadi, Taluka Junnar, District Pune. It was passed on to his son, Late Maruti Baban Gawde. The current owner, Mr. Vijay Gawde plans to open 100 branches from the current 20 branches.
Ballaleshwar has listed typical Maharashtrian snack items on it's menu.
I tried a Special Misal Pav which consists of Misal Pav, 2 Pav, extra gravy, 1 small bowl of Dahi & one piece of Gulab Jamun. It is served in a huge plate. It's a mini meal by itself. The gravy is spicy and comes with a mixture of lentils. To set off the spice effect of the gravy, they serve Dahi & Gulab Jamun.
I also had a Kadhi Wada which is a Batata Wada dipped in a sweet-sour Kadhi. Kadhi is a curd based curry which has besan as a thickening agent. It has very little spices like cumin seeds, chilli (red or green) & you are done. It's a nice innovation.
They serve a very nice Moong Dal Wada as well. The chai that is served here is infused with lemongrass.
The place is small, service is very fast & efficient and prices are pocket friendly.
If you are in Dombivali then a visit to this place is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered fried and special misal pav. Fried one had thick gravy with salad while special one had misal with dahi and gulab jamun as complementary. Both of them were unique in taste however fried one would be recommended because of its thick gravy with less oil.

Although the food is good , hygiene comes into major drawback.
One can find irritating flies and no better air circulation.
Fans here need some checkup .
Hard to give 3 star overall but missal is good .
So yeah enjoy it at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name itself is enough for the introduction. Here you get lip smacking misal paav. Here u have many options of snacks too. But my personal favourite is misal paav. You hav special misal paav too where u get additional gulab jamun with it . U can go with curd, buttermilk, solkadi.. Different varieties of pooha, samudhana and many more to go with. U can order spicy to medium misal as per ur taste bud and it’s been customise for you. You can also ask for extra paav. As being covid situation I called at there landline number placed my order and stated them will be reach in next 15min. Well my order was ready once I reached there outlet and was delivered to me directly, without wasting my time and maintaining covid norms by the outlet too. Tht was a grt experience too.. Do try once and no regrets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for misal lovers... They provide matki misal alongwith farsan, onion and extra tarri. They have Verity of dishes of misal like ballaleshwar misal, ballaleshwar thali etc they also started other dishes like sabudana wada, mung bhaji, poha etc. Need to work on interior and atmosphere of restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous Puneri misal outlet. They serve misal pav, sabudana vada, mataki bhel, kanda bhaji, mung bhaji, buttermilk, solkadhi etc.
Staff is friendly.
I had :-
Misal pav - it was very delicious & authentic.
Buttermilk - it was fresh.
You can pay by cash/upi transfer.
