★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try place for non veg lovers. fresh and soft mutton with bhakari and also other Food quality & taste is very good specially seafood. Service is good and fast. Lacks in ambiance. Mostly crowded on weekends. Good place to visit with family, friends and for couples as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this hotel last Sunday with my family and we enjoyed the food. A typical marathi authentic food, the gaavran masla touch to this food was really awesome. I have never seen any restaurants offering bhakris unlimited, this was my first experience.. ... will definitely visit when I happen to travel around talegaon again...
Since the name includes the word Khanavall, the ambience is exactly as required...

I have been commuting on this road for last 13 years or more. Never knew such a good eatery existed all along.
Today I took an opportunity to have a lunch with my colleague Devendra Kumar He suggested the place. Being a foodie like me and Mutton lover.
We quickly settled in the hotel and ordered the Mutton special Thali.
They serve Lamb not goat. Thats the thing in Pune area.
I like goat meat but not averse to Lamb.
So here we were with a complete special thali.
The Mutton Sukha , Mutton curry , Mutton Kheema, Mutton stock mildly flavoured called as Alani, Solkadhi and option of a Chapati and a Bhakri. I chose both.
The Mutton curry was spicy and oily too however it had exquisite meaty flavour of a lamb and went very well with chapati as well as the Bajari Bhakari .
The Kheema, minced meat , was done very well. Little sweetish due to chopped onions but cooked well with meat and had certain bite to chew. That's how it should be. Else it gets slimey and before one knows the taste melts and disappears in the mouth in no time.
The Sukha mutton was cooked well ,spicy and fun to have. The flesh was literally falling off the bones. The hot and spicey gravy and well done lamb with the Bhakri.
That's the path towards the food Nirvana , especially by late-afternoon lunch time.
The "piece de resistance" was alani rassa ,bland mutton stock and the Indrayani kind of rice ,prepared in abundant ghee and the mutton stock.
The best of the meaty flavors .
Solkadi was not only to wash down the spicy food but also to sooth the food pipe.
The Bajari bhakari was too good. Chapati no complaints.
My favorite combination is a chapati with the mutton curry and a Bhakari with the Mutton Sukha.
There is another way of having it by crushing the bhakari and soak it in the mutton curry. Some eateries fo serve it in that way.
I haven't tried it yet, though . Anywhere.
For INR 350/- it's a good deal.
Try it.
The place is not for decor. Visit for an authentic lamb done the way locals do it.
