★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay for travellers headed to spiti. THIS IS THE LAST PLACE IN HP YOU WILL GET TO HAVE WARM RUNNING WATER BATH if travelling to spiti in winter.
That said not going to waste my time and yours by writing or making you read a length review...close your eyes and book this place...it has everything clean rooms, good restaraunt etc etc...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best hotel to take a pit stop if you are en-route to Spiti. Heritage hotel, with old world charm and very central to Rampur city.
Pros:
4 star hotel.
Nice clean rooms with all amenities
Hot shower and clean bathrooms
Good selection of eateries in the menu and tasty food
Great garden seating and a place to have dinner/breakfast outside.
Not expensive at all.
Cons
Could be more well maintained (eg. The cutlury had to be cleaned once, garden can be better maintained)
Some rooms can be noisy as next to chimney
Rooms differ with small niggles (eg. some bath have shower curtains, some don't)
Tips:
Stay in room 314 if you want all wooden interiors and a great ambience. Good balcony. Avoid rooms next to the kitchen. There is loud noise from the chimney when it's operational (throughout lunch and dinner hours).
Finally Rampur can get hot. This is not a cold place so keep that in mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been 6 years I am visiting this hotel and each time I had abs no complains. Heritage property of this class is difficult to find around Rampur which makes it unique. It is my go to hotel for stop overs during my drives to Spiti Valley. Food is amazing and really tasty. Staff is promt and courteous. Highly recommended .

Hotel can improve by adding facilities like providing kettle flasks and iron boxes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had chilly cheese and fried rice here and food was good as available in other restaurants too. But the ambience and the hygiene makes it the most suitable and favourite place to have food. Being located at National Highway and parking availability provide an additional benefits. The staff is professional and shows a great demeanor. The garden outside the restaurant provides a soothing experience.
