★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to have food. Their speciality is of saoji and believe me you'll not regret of visiting here. Tasty food and quantity is worth as per price. Have a huge dine in, almost like 50-70 people can sit at a time. Very good service also

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shankar Saoji is one of the best places to eat authentic saoji food. They serve all kinds of saoji dishes.
It is slightly expensive than other saoji places in the city, but the quality of food is good and the service is quick.
Some of my favourites are the chicken saoji curry, fish fry, keema kaleja, sukha mutton saoji and dal fry.
They serve broiler as well as 'gavrani' chicken.
The gavrani chicken has a much more deeper flavour than the regular broiler chicken.
They also serve saoji crabs, which were also good.
You can order extra saoji curry if you want with your chiken or mutton.
They serve fulka roti, which I prefer because it is light and goes really well with the saoji curry.
Although you can also get paratha and other breads.
The Jeera rice is great and not too oily.
The dal tadka is a must try and if you like extra tadka on it. They serve that too.
It is basically a chilly garlic oil tadka.
They also serve cold drinks and bottled water.
There is a seperate seating area for families also.
if you are planning to go for lunch, call them in advance and ask if the fish fry is available. Because sometimes it is only available in the evening.
And alcohol is prohibited.
Overall it is a great saoji place.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste was really good. I went there with few of friends. Service is very fast but I don't know whether it is fast even when place is crowded as we went there bit early so there were not much crowd.
Ambience us not that great. If you're looking for good ambience you might get disappointed. But food will not disappoint you. Also the place might seems costly compared to other saoji restaurants. But i think its reasonable if you wanted authentic taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saoji lovers shouldn't miss this place and Nagpur winters just add the charm of enjoyin this hot and spicy nagpuri style saoji. Do try khur masala with tawa roti..just yummm. Keema kaleji is outstanding and chicken/mutton rassa with jeera rice is a must try main course. In simple words this place provides authentic saoji food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a typical saoji restaurant... They have a different section for family and for bachelors as well. The taste is nice. Not that spicy ? very well managed in terms of service . Very nice and decent staff. Clean kitchen. CCTV camera coverage. Definately a go to place of you want someone out of nagpur to taste the aasal saoji ✌️✌️
Also they have strict no alcohol policy which makes the atmosphere very family friendly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this restaurant is overpriced and overhyped. When we went there that sabji's are all about red mirch and oil. There was no proper taste of spices. May be they had burn the spices. Even rice was not up to the mark. For prices they are charging ambience was ok ok. It is huge.. have many compartments.
We've ordered paneer Saoji(half) in which only 5-6 pieces are there.. which is sufficient for one person. In chicken Saoji Handi 6 pieces were there. Chicken pieces were hard though we've ordered broiler chicken.
