We tried special tiffin thali
Regional Maharashtrian food items in thali. Simple homely taste with low on spices and oil. Arrived in neatly packed, no spill box. Each portion is sufficient for one person with moderate appetite.
It includes:
Ambat god amti, masala bhat with tondli, peas, cashews, batata kanda bhaji, kothimbir vadi, dahi kakdi koshimbir, masala vangi was a bit of let down. Needed more spices and thickness in gravy.Three fulkas and gulab jamun. Overall Excellent in taste and both quality/ quality is good. Hygiene standards were maintained. Overall a great meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I start from! First of all apologies for not clicking photos this time. Got busy with enjoying the services and meals. The rooms are super spacious with nice views. The hotel is slightly inside the main road via a gully and is therefore far from pollution and close to nature. The exteriors might look old but often old is gold. This place provides the exact meaning to the phrase. The kaka at reception is super friendly. The entire staff is well mannered and very prompt. The meals and thali are heaven. At first we were bamboozled to witness the crowd waiting on line to get their seats in dining hall. Once wewere served, it was evident why is it so famous. Mouthwatering simple meals, stupendous variety of authenticate bhaji, flavourfully natural aamras, solkadhi and what not. Overall I would give the stay and meals 6 out 5 ratings. Looking forward to stay in the hotel again. Oh yes! And it is in prime location of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Shreyash today, a very disappoint after waiting for almost a hour with a crowded corridors and lobby area, food for purely bland as they promise you to give a authentic maharashtrian taste, so it's waste to pay 350+ for a normal thali.
Second thing the coordination between the staff and waiters is purely worst no proper attention is given to the customer.
The hype about the restaurant has led to decrease in service and quality

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the hotel in 1984. Our (me and my wife) experience is superb in room as well as thali (priced@16rupees). We still remember.
Thanks a lot to the then management and staff .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed a great Maharashtrian thali. Each of the dish was good to eat. Servers keep coming at you one after the another getting to feed you. The owners eagle eye is always there watching how the customers are eating and directing the servers to attend on the tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and alert service, staff is quite attentive. Food is good, nice variety and you can eat your fill. Just that it gets crowded on weekends, better to reserve in advance. Also parking is limited. But overall very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally a city hotel that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. It's warm, homely and preserves the old school charm that's that's nearly impossible to find. It has little quirks like a stereo player on the wall and morning newspapers at your door. Their food is truly good. Simple and good, which is rare. Stepping into the hotel feels like stepping out of a time machine. I was transported back to my childhood. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. Their solar heaters actually work. They give you a desk and a mini fridge. In short, everything you could need to feel at home on your short stay in a rapidly changing city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is great hotel. Rooms are spacious and maintained very well. Good quality is also good. But if you want to eat here outside from your package then it is very costly. Breakfast approx costs ₹250 and lunch or dinner would cost around ₹350-400. All other amenities are also good. It has a small refrigerator, AC, TV, safe and other things in a room. Location is also near to Shivajinagar railway station.
