Looks wise good but biggest problem was room insulation. U can literally hear out everyone walking in gallery. Common area is good well maintained but average breakfast - u dont even get an omelette on request .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property is very nice a heritage one. Food is good but breakfast needs more variety and flexibility of choices. Location is at Nadesar where most of the new branded hotels are located. Rooms are ok clean and hygienic. Check in needs improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are small, gets cramped with a double bed. Air-conditioning is effective. Bathroom is clean and equipped. Wardrobe is insufficient. No shelves to keep clothes, broken hangars insufficient for hanging clothes. Room service not very efficient. Food has a homely taste, likeable for frequent travellers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lesser known place here… the property is huge… but the hotel is not so well kept… specially the washrooms… needs a good tweak and cleaning… overall for the tariff it’s a decent stay, but has lots of scope for improvement… minus the room it’s a great place… even for kids / toddlers… loads of car park… lawns… a nice bar and restaurant… the staff is a bit amateur and thus goes by the book and lacks flexibility… again, if they tweak the rooms and pay a little attention to hygiene and cleanliness, it would be a wonder place to stay…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there for one night only. The staff there is courteous, friendly and highly professional. The garden and restaurant is developed very well. The rooms need makeover as probably they are too old. Beds need replacement. Don't know about other rooms. My views are about the room I was given. Recommend to Stay there for mouth watering dishes served I their restaurant and the view outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has always been my go to spot when visiting the holy city. Visited again in January 22’ and as expected the hospitality, ambiance, and food were exemplary. The hotel staff are well trained, and obviously take pride in the service they provide. The Sol Bar is far and away the best hang-out spot in Varanasi. Looking forward to next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here in October last year, the property is huge, room size is good, bed is soft and comfortable, bedsheets were clean. Food is excellent, breakfast spread is good in variety and yummy too. Staff is courteous. The only thing missing from the room was doormat. Will surely visit again this year. But looks like they have increased their room prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very nice as you enter. It's got the charm that most modern glass and metal finish hotels do not.
But it ends here. The hotel is old but that doesn't give it the freedom to be dirty. The cleanliness of this place especially in the middle of the pandemic is shocking.
The bedsheets on my hotel as I checked in were dirty and seemed used. No amount of convincing could get them to change the sheets.
The floors felt dirty as you walked bare foot. The bathrooms weren't very clean.
All in all, very avoidable. There are better properties that are cheaper within 50 meters of this place.
