★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good place to visit for Chinese food I you are on a tight budget. The taste is good at the price they serve. Most Chinese dishes are available. It is a typical roadside restaurant. There are chairs on the sidewalk to sit and have your food. There is no indoor sitting arrangement. If you are concerned about hygiene, avoid the place. The behaviour of the cook, the waiters and the manager is good. They are helpful but sometimes a bit neglecting when there is a rush...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem at the heart of North Kolkata. They serve authentic Chinese food that is difficult to find even at luxury restaurants. They really work hard. Their hospitality is very nice and humble. Totally value for money.
In the frame - Veg fried rice and Hot garlic chicken. We took one plate of the each mentioned food and it's more than enough to satisfy appetite of two people.

The main pro here is they make some Chinese and Tibetan dishes that you'll not find in any other street food counter, like Falafal, Thukpa, Bao etc. I tried...

Mashed chicken and onion stuffed in a big crispy layered shell. It tasted pretty average and was bit too oily.
Special Egg Noodles @ Rs.60 (4/5)

Thick noodles well tossed in soya sauce with big chunks of fried eggs and very few veggies. Noodles tasted good and portion was good too.
If you're passing by Hatibagan area and wondering to have some street food, Hungry Monkzzz is a good option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though street style Chinese delicacies taste heavenly across Kolkata, this particular eatery called Hungry Monkzzz is not at all upto the mark. Their Chicken Stream Momos is still bearable. But other dishes like Dragon Chicken and Tie Pao taste disgusting. Specially, such worsen taste of Dragon Chicken is absolutely unexpected when they have mentioned that this dish is one of their specialities. Having Tie Pao is also a very bad experience no doubt.
