★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained place, healthy pants and trees , it's a huge campus. You can get all kind of information regarding agriculture and horticulture here. This campus also organises mango and jackfruit mela which helps people to know more about those fruits and the farmer sell their product directly to the Costumers without any middle man. This place is filled with greenery and crops grown using modern technology.

In the recent years the Institute has been organising Annual National Horticulture Fairs to demonstrate outstanding horticultural technologies on field and through virtual mode. One can visit ICAR-IIHR YouTube channel to experience the extravagance of the event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feeling fantastic @ IIHR exhibition 2021, Bengaluru. This event held @ once in year. Here is some tremendous work being done there to promote low cost technology among farmers/entrepreneurs for horticulture crops, fruits, flowers, vegetables and it also helps to urban farmer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited horticulture mela in Feb 2020, on the last day of the fair. So nicely arranged flower and vegetable gardens. Those who have not visited, it's a big loss. Should have extended few more days, including holidays. Couldn't visit in 2021 due to Covid. Eager to visit again after covid.

The campus is vast ,you may go through walk in tour enjoying the research varieties of fruits,vegetables, flowers, trees. Contact the institution and fix program. Very good for schools and colleges to conduct a tour to get indepth knowledge of different types of fruits and vegetables,

This institute concentrated on the horticultural crops research and seed hub for vegetables.... many advanced research programs are carried out here particularly on management of horticulture crops under future climate change scenarios...... world class advanced technology is used here....
