★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended for middle class families to take policy as investment. They have a locking period of 5 years means you cannot have single penny of your hard earned money till 5 years. After 5 years also it is on market value. The returns of the policy doesn't guarantee even for 4% less than savings bank deposit. Hence donot take policies for the sake of investments. Further rs 10lakh is also very less for life insurance for policy that requires premium of one lakh.
Definitely not recommended for investments.
