No use of gloves etc for serving, uses dirty hand to serve...on raising issues, the response is that south indian food is to be serve like that...not worth going..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice small eatery with variety of south indian cuisine. Try the unlimited dosa platter - it's really good! Idly - steamed and fried can be further improved. The dosas are tasty. Staff is good.

ordered today for morning breakfast.. idly was smelly, meduvada was stale, and the lemon rice didn't had any lemon in it.. in-fact the rice they used in lemon rice was probably leftover by some Chinese street food guy..
must avoid at even given time..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IDLY VIDLY is one of the most leading vegetarian south indian restaurant in South Bopal Ahmedabad, I have been there for lunch a couple of times, the variety of food and the ambiance is really good and it taste was really like south indian cities like bangalore/cheinnai. I went again today for a afternoon meals. The restaurant interior was very good it was clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place to eat. Not because of food quality but the way owner argues when you give them feedback is just measurable. Totally rude and full of attitude like a master chef winner. Their price is whooping high then their food quality. If you order a plain Dhosa and ask tham to make it with cheese, then charge Rs. 50 extra, like they were going to add the whole cheese cube of 500gms in Dhosa. Not recommended at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even comparatively low pricing is more for poor quality. Sambhar is highly spicy. Liberal use of chillies. Idly vadas are equally poor quality. Response to feed back discouraging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am regular customer of idly vidly from last 3 months. I observed from last 4 times, I went to have dinner between 10:00 and 10:30pm and got pathetic response from the staff end. They were like, they are doing favor on me by providing food.
The real problem is staff want to go home by closing the shop at 10pm but the 11pm is the closing time. I decided to not go again to that perticular shop
Small suggestion for owner :: Change the staff who is dealing with customers, this will save you from the big loss.
