I'm currently studying at the university pursuing B.A. (Hons.) English. These are the pros and cons which you might want to consider before taking admission here.
Pros
1) Academically, I found the English department good , the teaching methods are good, and professors are always willing to clarify any doubt that a student might be facing.
2) The falcuty always supports students to take part in activities besides the academic curriculum.
3) Students are always encouraged for an interaction, for better learning.
4) I'm staying at the university hostel- which has amazing food, and the warden always reaches out for any help that you might need.
5) Student's mental health is looked upon too, I remember a voted form being sent to the university by the students, to cancel the C.A tests, because of the pandemic, and the university did cancel it, and conducted only a final semester exam.
6) The library is good, iisu also has an e-library which students are given full access to.
Cons
1) The syllabus is good, but can be too much for an average student. The assignments are sometimes a burden, but I believe that's their effort to push us for better.
2) The university hostel has strict rules regarding outing and clothing. One can only go out once in a week that too only for an hour, which can get nothing done. Though you can get everything in the hostel by ordering, the warden helps in getting minor stuff you want like biscuits, chocolates, medicines, etc. but you can't go out no matter what. And if you are late even by 15 minutes your next outing will be cancelled. This can be seen as a pro too, if you can stay in discipline. But for those who want to travel in Jaipur and visit places, it's a con.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best institute for higher education for girls in Rajasthan. Infrastructure is great Labs, Class rooms, auditorium and Hostels and the Faculty is one of the best they are well educated and ready to help in all the aspects. There guidance is always there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No care given to phd scholars. Guide is not guiding properly. After enrolling in 2020, till now no clear guidance is given. No one is there to listen. I've heard that Ashok Gupta Sir listens to everyone but this seems to be a lie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My niece took admission in this university last year. Undoubtedly the best women’s university in the state. They offer so many courses to choose from. The Science departments are well equipped with laboratories. The faculty is extremely good and well qualified and they are always so polite and friendly with the students. The security system developed for the students is so impressive. The biometric system for the sign in and sign out if students and the metacampus platform has allowed the parents to stay informed about their ward’s whereabouts and progress. The best university to take admission for undergraduate, postgraduate and even phd course in any stream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the worst University ever. The faculty is very nice but there's just too many examinations and assignments. The course is cumbersome. There's always some examination going on every other month. Also, I had a due paper of just my COSD practical even though I did pass the course in aggregate. Still, just for 15 marks I had to pay 500/- fine and even then there occurred an issue on the University's end and their records weren't maintained. So, I had to pay extra 500/- and attempt that paper as well. The administration isn't well maintained and there's just too many and lengthy procedures for trivial things too. Wouldn't recommend anyone enrolling in this University.
