Wow!! Simply amazing!! There's so much history associated with Kolkata that one must attend these walks to get to know them. With some heart rendering revealing facts backed up with photographic visuals truly made this interactive walk a memorable experience. I even got a mail stacked up with quite a few important webpage links giving access to a number of archives thus corroborating other facets of the tour. My earnest thanks for keeping up the good work. Looking forward to my next walk with this fantastic team.

I took the Colonial Cemeteries heritage walk this morning, and it was great! Excellent tour. The guides were knowledgeable and professional, and their insights into Kolkata's history were fascinating. I have been in the city almost a year so I have visited some of the sites previously, but the tour brought local history to life in a way I hadn't experienced before. I learned a lot, and I will certainly look forward to booking again sometime! Thank you, Heritage Walk Calcutta! :)

I took a virtual tour of Hatserandi poter durga puja with Dr. Tathagata. It turned into approximately a conventional village in Bengal where the goddess is paintedin place of idols. The excursion was very informative and thrilling, showed me a kind of Durga Puja i had never seen earlier, in truth it is an endangered talent because the painters don't get a whole lot of cash. I without a doubt propose those tours to people trying to learn more about Kolkata and Bengal records and tradition.

HeritageWalk Calcutta's tours were comprehensive and impressive in its nuanced understanding of the city's history and architecture. We were able to see structures and buildings not easily visible to those unfamiliar with the city. I highly recommend going on these walks: not only will you see parts of the city you've probably never walked through, but you will learn about the incredible diversity and various actors in Calcutta's past and present.

This was an amazing experience that allowed me to see some of the oldest and most beautiful parts of Kolkata's history. It is off many of the beaten paths and allows for an intimate encounter with the development of the city and its culture, where Hindu, Muslim and British influences converged to create a place of creativity and dynamism that still permeates contemporary Kolkata. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and really made important connects between each other sites and their place among one another and in history. I highly recommend this experience and would definitely go on another exploration through Heritage Walk Calcutta!

Went through alleyways and lanes in old Chinatown where I would have never thought of exploring. The tour is well paced and very informative. The operators also seem to have a good relationship with folks in the community which makes visiting private and public spaces a welcoming experience. Left feeling much more informed about this part of the city. Calcutta continues to amaze.

Hands down, the Best Heritage Walking Tour in Kolkata! Hats off to the research done, the immaculate and enthusiastic articulation. They covered everything from the major buildings, their history, locations - old and new (if applicable), generations of pictures excavated from obviously painstaking research, time periods, who said what to whom, who bought or sold what, why is this building the way it is, why is it named as such, what else did this person do in his/her life, what happened to this certain statue or even a dustbin! EVERYTHING! These guys are confident and talking about a subject that they are educated in, with a capital E. You won't get a newly employed guide who has just learnt a script and relaying everything that his/her boss has asked to say. These are the kind of Walking Tours we need, what so many cities deserve and Kolkata/Bengal (as of now) is just too lucky to have. Plan your Kolkata layover or holiday or next date based on these guys' calendar...and spend the most beautiful 2-3 hours in the city. Highly Recommended. Live physical tours or virtual rented walking tour videos. All are exceptional!
