About INDIA CARE CHARITABLE TRUST
INDIA CARE CHARITABLE TRUST was initiated with the aim of providing necessary help and support to underprivileged children in India by improving life quality. India Care Charitable Trust is a world in which all children realize their full potential in societies which respect people’s rights and dignity. It is an independent body, with no religious, political or governmental affiliations. India Care Charitable Trust is a nationally registered child centered Non Profit Organization.
The main aim of India Care Charitable Trust is facilitating life quality. Life quality is made better by bringing about mobilization within the community in all its realms. The governance is on a participatory basis, based on management of natural resources. The areas of work of this non-government organization are promotion and protection of environment, encouraging the community to participate. They also provide education and promote social capital.
India Care Charitable Trust lays major emphasis on environment and education for children. Interventions of the action research help in providing required space for the stakeholder’s engagement and participation in change. They are into analysis of conditions that form people’s milieu with whom it works.
Depending upon the level of learning and age of child laborers, the NGO has prepared adequate material and text books for educational purposes. The educational material is also provided to those sections of society which are marginalized. Strength of the India Care Charitable Trust lies in the programs that are educational, Village Education Committees or the VEC. They have formed groups offering self-help and provide education to adolescent girls. CBOs for child right protection and educating youth in rural areas with the help of the literacy programs are the other areas of work.
Besides all these activities, India Care Charitable Trust also continues to participate in the natural resources community management. They work in areas related to rights of women and children, providing them education. They facilitate the development of people overall, networking, initiating movements, campaigning and governance on a participatory basis.
