★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a freelance camera op I’ve worked with a lot of fixers around the world. Saurav was competent enough on our one day shoot and did what was asked when he was asked. It was also very good of him to work over the Diwali holidays due to the last minute nature of the shoot. Everything did go smoothly but to be fair that was also partly due to our talent lending a hand in making arrangements. However with all that said I can’t leave a 5 star review because he spent half the day on the phone texting the production company that sent me and calling his bank to make sure he was paid which in all fairness I understand but was frustrating nonetheless when I turned to him for help to see him so incredibly distracted and not present in the situation. Lastly when our shoot was wrapped he kept insisting I google his company and leave him a review. Even went so far as to tap 5 stars for me on my phone but I wasn’t signed in so he couldn’t submit it.
