★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campus is great, faculties and facilities are good but this college lacks alumni association and support as well as placement support. You won't get placement after you graduate from here. You either have to go for some PhD or research work or foreign for double MS degree and then get placement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campus is fully constructed and hostels too .I was a summer intern student there during summer 2017 for about two and a half months. In summer the climate is hell, the temperature may go to as high as 48-49 in peak time and the humidity is not a matter out there. You will be died out there under the scorching sun. Canteen food is hell for a south Indian but can be adjusted for short terms. Food is too costly in the restaurant and outside places of Bhopal. Since IISER Bhopal is located at the bypass road, there will not be any local buses to iiser bhopal. Institute offers bus services everyday to outside for residential's including faculties.
Natural beauty of IISER Bhopal is empty, we may feel like we are living in an artificial environment and for internship if you are staying at iiser bhopal then stay in your lab else you will be fried under the sun. Hot winds blow over your face in the summer and you cannot negotiate this else you cover your face. Winter is cold as well but the natural beauty is not preserved in any of the seasons and the campus is entirely dry and Institute works department tries to grow some trees in and around the campus which in future may be helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and well decorated campus. Excellent Research in science are going here and lab infrastructure is very good. Excellent Library and Hostel facility is available here. But transport service is not enough,not so good and very costly.
There is no good market near the campus.
Recently Nature Index ranking (2019) in Chemistry of IISER Bhopal is 26th among all the TOP 100 young universities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing, it is one of the top research institute of India. I am not a student of IISER, however I visited the campus and stayed there for 3-4 days. The experience was mesmerizing, the campus is full of trees, roads are well built neat and clean. We tried food at mess also it was good. Overall it is a good place for students.
