★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do print some rare gems but alas the printing quality and the way they store their books is not up to the mark. Plus whereas MLBD & Chaukhamba generously give you atleast 20% off their marked price you will have to satisfy yourself with a max of 10-15 % discount depending on the amount you buy. Plus they have a tendency to mark their books a bit on the steep side. Beware of English translations of Sanskrit manuscripts though you will definitely find mistakes.

Varied and mixed content for contemporary and youth reading too. Spread over a two storied building.
* They also have a shop near assi ghat apart from this older godowlia one.
