β β β β β It is an awesome experience to see animals in real life.Soon after we enter the zoo park we will see a complete map of the zoo park. This zoo park offers separate sections for each type of animals like reptiles, carnivorous family, birds, creepers etc. The peculiar thing in this zoo park is the rarest white tiger in this zoo. Here we got to see hyneas, white tigers, giraffee ,lion, peacocks, Indian guar, wide varieties of parrots, cheetah, deers, zebras..etc. The trip may take more than two hours but it will give an amazing experience. There is an option to go with a bicycle , Jeep and own car which enables all age group people to enjoy the zoo park.

β β β β β Everyone loves to visit the zoo. Kids love to see the animals they have seen only in picture books and the adults accompanying the kids love to see the look of immense delight on the faces of these kids. One such zoological park that has everything to make it one of the funΒ places to visit in VizagΒ is the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park.
Surrounded by the Eastern Ghats on three sides and set in the laps of the Kambalakonda Forest Reserve this park is spread over a luxurious 625 acres and is home to almost 80 species of wildlife, making it one of the largest zoological parks in Andhra Pradesh.

β β β β β For now half of the place is under maintenance and very less animals are there. One each of each animal. You get to see more peacocks and birds. Just saw one lion that too far, white tiger sleeping, no normal bengal tigers, no leopard, less crocodiles. 4 elephants, two hippos, one rhino, swans, wild dogs, snakes, deers etc. Overall not so attractive. Canteen food is not at all good. Not worthy to the price they are selling. There is alot of scope for development and to bring more animals. Not sure why they are not doing anything. Also price of entrance is increased to 50βΉ. I also tweeted in twitter about this but no one even cared to reply.

β β β β β Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is a must visit place in vishakhapatnam. It has many animals including white tiger. It has special reptiles and birds sections. The one thing I liked the most was you can take your car inside the park to roam around. Very scenic and calm place to have a one day picnic with your family.

β β β β β A good day trip with family and kids. Well shaded with plenty of place to enjoy and sit. A slightly lengthy walk to cover the entire zoo and some enclosures are presently under maintenance. Clean and well kept with attentive staff.

β β β β β An amazing place with hilly ambience, lush greenery, lively animals with their instinctive gestures-postures. When you'll pass through the woods you may have a chance of relishing the white tiger's roar, trumpet of mother elephants, chattering of love birds. You may be a witness of the bluish beauty of peacocks, sunny relaxation of Gharials, aimless wandering of lusty deer, muddy enjoyment of rhinoceros.A good place for both children & adults, for both nature-lovers & animal-lovers.Two/three hours will be enough for covering the whole place by walking.Only four wheelers are allowed inside.Try to visit during December to February if you want to enjoy the combo offer of green mountain with wide range of zestful animals as well as the charm and warmth of golden sunshine.

β β β β β If you want to see wild animals, it will be a waste experience. Majority of the cages are under maintenance. But if you need to spend somewhere for relaxation you can go there. It will be better if the authorities can arrange good seating facility near to this pond.
