The recycling plant doesn't work that much amount of effective.. Poor condition.. Ask anything to the people who leaves nearby... Very bad smell occurs...?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Earlier the dumping side was at Mulund but later it extended to Bhandup as well. This dumping has very good waste management. No stinking smell nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giving confidence to the residence and for the environment protection, It is very important to ensure that the project is not violating pollution norms and not odour emanating, to ensure to comply with anti pollution norms, ambient air quality parameters, to be within the prescribed limit in a scientific waste management way avoiding contaminated soil or water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an outstanding site of Integrated Solid Waste Management where there is scientific processing of household waste collected from all over the Mumbai is being take place. At the initial stage there is a material recovery facility is provided where the segregation of waste is takes place. The segregated organic waste is then sent to the compost facility for composting and remaining material is processed as per their characteristics. The scientific bioreactor landfill are there to manage huge amount of wastes effectively on daily basis. There is no smell generation even after a huge quantity of MSW is received daily. The landfill gas generating from the landfills is trapped and used for electricity production. The leachate generating from the wet waste is collected and being treated in the Leachate Treatment plant after which is sent to the landfill again for maintaining the inner moisture.
Overall a big and a good project which is first of its kind in Asia and is a benchmark to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very great to visit. You all will find many book stores around it. There are many restaurants hotels , local toilets around it. The scenario is awesome . Everyone should visit this place if they come here. Make sure you come with your families and children's . Also bring your grand father and grandmother. Bring some medicine in extra if someone get it because this place air and environment might affect some body due to change in temperature or environmental effects.
