★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their lawyer, Joel, represented me in a divorce case and totally screwed me over due to his incompetence. in a case where i had been abused, cheated on, and deserted by my ex who had fled to a middle Eastern country and i had all the proofs against him, everyone told me i had a good case. Joel, who is not only incompetent but i suspect was being bribed by my ex, created a very bad petition where he screwed up with all the facts and pleas, that almost made my ex look like a saint, and after 3 years of no action against my ex, my ex was demanding me 1crore to give me a divorce in front of the high court, and the judge was shocked. this guy is highly incompetent, knows no legalities. DO NOT HIRE HIM. he is in this business only for money- he charges per hearing, so he makes more the longer the case continues- and has no experience. he does not even listen to the clients opinion and does whatever he wants and what suits him better. I had to write hundreds of pages of documents for the court which is something he should be doing. I was going to each hearings and he was late in most of them, i had to remind him of the hearings each time, and i had to single handedly go to the police thanas and he didn't follow up anywhere. He just wanted to be paid for showing up at the court and taking another date. The ex's lawyer was not even that good, but my own lawyer was so bad that his lawyer didn't have to do anything. My lawyer did all the damage. as i started to realize that my case was having irreparable damage, started asking him questions about his strategy. he was irritated at my questions about my own case and told me to go find another lawyer, else let him do his job. it's actually illegal for him to say that. I will be reporting him to the bar council.
