It is situated at other three places viz. Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai.
Examiners used to examine the cases and controllers/registrars used to grant these rights. All the applications can be done through online mode.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To my utter surprise, unlike most Government offices, the first impression upon visiting IP India was pleasant. There is ample well-informed staff to guide visitors to the correct dealing officers and they don't make you run from one desk to another, the building is sophisticated with centralised air conditioning and overall the functioning promotes ease of work in the complicated and time-consuming process of Intellectual Property.
Note for first time visitors, the nearest metro station is Dwarka Sector-14 and from there one can get e-rickshaws or rickshaws to IP office. And there is IP University around the same area, so be clear to the rickshaws that you want to go to IP office or as they know it locally "Baudhik Sampada Bhawan".

Parking is available inside the premises, and only thing I don't like is you need to take pass for everything i.e visiting pass, canteen pass, and you have to wait for long hours for your hearing, doesn't matter if your Matter is listed for 10:30 they will take their own time. They also claim that they believe in paperless work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IPR office at Dwarka Sector 14, a government office with great infrastructure and hub for registration and other matters related to intellectual property rights, like Trademark, Copyright etc. Nearest metro station is Dwarka, Sector 14 metro station with a 10 minutes walk. Ample space for parking in the service lane.
