Ukraine follows the European Educational Reforms also known as the Bologna Process. The undergraduate medical course is completed in 6 years including one year rotatory pre-graduate internship and at the end of which you shall be awarded the coveted MD (Doctor of Medical) degree. The degree allows you to practice all over the world given you qualify their internal licensing examination which is standard for all applicants no matter their country of origin. Of those 6 years, the first 2 years are devoted towards pre-clinical subjects (e.g. Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry) the next 2 years are reserved for para-clinical subjects (e.g. Pathological morphology, Pharmacology, Forensics, Pediatrics etc.) the last 2 years are entirely devoted towards Clinical subjects, clinical rotations, clinical practice and observations.
