★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery is sadly misnamed. The cake here were not what I expected. By the name, you’d think they served European style dessert, I ordered a chocolate cake and the counter staff assured me it was cream. Given that the cakes did not look refrigerated, I should've guessed that it was not cream. Whatever the shop uses for the cakes, it’s some kind of thick, firm and greasy ersatz cream. Utterly disgusting especially if you’re used to eating the real thing.
I’m sorry to say that Italian Bakery is no Italian Bakery.
