★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the very old famous hindu temple of goddess Kali Maa. Located at about14 kms from main Dehradun city in Shahranpur Rd. Tempal was established in 1804 ,it is said that during that period construction of tunnel was going on but it was not getting completed due to unknown reason, one day Maa Kali came in the dream of engineer and after that this temple was constructed there.
this temple remains crowded mostly on Saturdays snd Sundays.
people also visit here for the pooja of their newly purchased vehicle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First place to visit after buying a vehicle even a cycle very renowned place. Before use to have traffic a lot, but no big vehicles running on this route thanks to government doing an awesome job on creating a secondary road for transportation. The place has a tunnel in the end which I like since my childhood a good experience overall
Pro advice beware of beggars do not get encircled by them. Locals are helpful and panditji does gives tym for your pooja and archana
Good facility for people to eat and kept neat and tidy at all times. If u want to serve the poor u can do it as well just submit some amount and call your relatives for a time out here peaceful place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most famous temple of dehradun. Located at special location in between the rajaji national park . No electricity no mobile coverage but still one of the busiest places of DEHRADUN. As a kid the fascinating part was the tunnel coming before the temple.
May new vehicle before plying it on road has to mandatorily has to visit for blessing of ma Daat kali.
It is the one of the oldest temple of dehradun . Do visit here if you come to my city. Jai mata di!! ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old Maa kali temple located on way to delhi and saharanpur, very popular, visited by devotees, heavy rush during navratris and weekend. Whenever locals purchase new vehicle, they come to seek blessings of Maa Kaali. You will have to use the old tunnel to reach the temple.

Before reaching to ddn, u can perform worship to god and it is very popular temple among all doonites.
Followers of Hindu god first visit here after buying new vehicle and it is the most common tradition.
Now there is new bypass road cum tunnel is also made before temple because due to large crowd of devotees, there is a rush and lead to traffic jam.

It is believed that while construction of Dehradun-Saharanpur highway was going on, Kali maa came to dream of an engineer and who in turn built and gave idol of Kali to Mahant Gusain to establish temple. People in Dehradun or near by areas seek her blessings while buying new vehicle or when starting a new work.
