Yesterday evening me & my mother went to his clinic as I was having toothache. He did the X-Ray and said there is an infection in my tooth and mentioned it just once that root canal needed to be done. He did not tell anything about the procedure (what that actually is, why it needs to be performed, how many sittings are required, what is the price) and without any verbal/written consent he started performing it. I thought he is doing regular cleaning just to ease the pain and asked him multiple times what exactly he was up to but he was somehow dodging the question every time. After 15 minutes he handed over a bill of 3500 to me and told that he had performed the first sitting of RCT(Root Canal Treatment). Shockingly I asked that you did not take our consent, to which he lied that he mentioned it clearly. I found it fishy but paid the half amount and left his clinic anyway Just after an hour, I called him for the copy of the X-Ray to which he said he deleted it. A doctor has no right to perform surgery without taking patient's consent and on top of it he deleted the X-ray before the completion of the treatment. I felt so cheated and deceived..to add to the misery, when I visited Clove the next day, I found out there was no infection at all in my tooth. Couldn't believe that he ruined my tooth just to earn a meager amount. Doctors like him are a black spot to the entire fraternity. It is so saddening that doctors like him take undue advantage of patients' trust and seek only money out of the business due to which people are losing their faith from doctors. Do not ever visit here!!!
