★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very congested area. Roads are bad.Avoid the road during monsoon specially two wheeler or small car due to water logging. Heavy vehicles are plying in the area due to nearby kolkata port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name may be misnomer. It is a very poorly maintained area. Roads are terribly bad, extremely dirty with open drainage on both sides, dust everywhere. Heavy trucks play on roads which make it highly accident prone. Many old industrial units are here on both sides of Hyde road. If someone goes little interior one can see how poorly maintained slums there and equally active ruling party's activities. High volume of microphone announcing party program, sometimes playing songs of Didi....that's all.
