Jaipur railway station was built in 1875. It has clinched the first place for being the cleanest railway station as per the survey of Swachh Rail, Swachh Bharat, released in 2019, by the Railways, with a network of over 8000 stations. Jaipur topped the list followed by Jodhpur & then Durgapura. Jaipur & Jodhpur also topped the list last year as per the Report of 2018. Recently this station was upgraded with renovated platforms, escalators, water vending machines & bottle crushing machines, sanitary vending machines, LED lights for better illumination. There is a spacious concourse hall at the main entrance that displays beautiful Rajasthani Art. This redesigned waiting Lounge has been fitted with an energy efficient extraordinary big fan of 24ft diameter. Free Golf cart facility is also available for senior citizens.

Jaipur railway station is one of the best station in India it is the capital of Rajasthan and also known as pink city. This station is so perfect in everything.

It’s a railway station, trains come and trains go. The overall condition of the train stationed is outdated, but there’s places to eat, purchase coffee, and sit. I did have questions when purchasing the tickets, which I was helped for the most part. Upon arriving at the train station in the morning, I wasn’t sure what platform I was supposed to be waiting. The morning employees were very helpful and showed where my train would be arriving. The condition of the train was another thing, but that’s a whole other story. For railway stations in India, I’ll give this place 4 stars.
