Jaipur Railway Station Main Entry - Jaipur

I have been there, just pass the station in the train. Looks clean and developed. Suggestion of Visitors: Jaipur has many visiting places and can use this station for easy reach. Jaipur Station is also a junction so you can have connected trains also from this station. Use IRCTC website for connected traing.

This station is neat and clean. All services are here that we need at station. Security purpose also is best . Station staff are helpful.

From jaipur junction, we can take train journey for all Rajasthan nd also take train for other state like UP, bihar, Mumbai, MP, Punjab etc. Inside of the station area here All kind of bank atm are available, food corner, post office, RPF office,good rest room ,parking availability. Here no. Of platform are 7,

Jaipur the pink city attracts many people towards it heavenly places. Jaipur junction railway station contribution becomes most important as train are mode of travel by many of us. Station is good in terms of getting in and out easily. Parking for physically challenged person also available. Only thing which missing is that the I found some the collie were not wearing face mask and even on ticket counter social distancing were not being followed

Jaipur division is one of the 59 divisions of Indian Railways,in state capital Jaipur of the largest state of India Jaipur is a historical city founded by His Highness Shri Jai Singh II in the year 1728 popularly known as "Pink City". It is an important tourist destination on world map for its historical monuments. It forms part of tourist triangle of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur. Being an important tourist center, it is well linked to other tourist centers such as Udaipur, Mount Abu, Jaisalmer, Agra, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, etc., via rail route. Jaipur is traditionally a business centre of precious stones, jewellery and also famous for Bandhani and Sanganeri print clothes. The city has kept pace with the time and developed as one of the modern cities of India having modern malls, buildings and education centers. The foundation stone of the existing Jaipur station building was laid on 4th May 1956 by the then Maharaja Sawai Man Singh of Jaipur. It took about three years to complete the construction of this building. The station handles prestigious luxury trains like Palace on Wheels & Rajasthan Royals on Wheels. Jaipur Division serves the states of Rajasthan and Haryana. The main BG sections on the division handling goods traffic are Madar-Jaipur-Bandikui-Rewari trunk route, of over 353 Kms., Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur branch line of 131 Kms. and Phulera-Ringas-Rewari Chord line of 215 Kms. RE-RGS-FL, serves as the shortest route for North West freight traffic. Jaipur division primarily handles movement of West-East traffic consisting of mainly POL, Fertilizer and cement for consumption in the northern region, Oil and salt in the northern & North east regions and, with West ward traffic consisting of food grain & containers. The division was formed on 15thAugust 1956, by merging BB & CI, Jaipur State Railways and Rajputana Malwa Railway (RMR).

Visited on 2nd - 5th April 2022, station is near to the city, surrounded by lots of hotels, ITC Rajputana is near, market is also near. Raja park is 6-7 kms distance. Metro station is nearby. Service quality can be improved

Jaipur train station is centrally located within city of Jaipur. There are 6 or 7 platforms all platforms are linked with a bridge and there are escalators for going up and down. Baggage assistance can be found with a person wearing red clothes. Overall it's very clean.

This is one of the best railway station in India. It offers mesmerizing view of Rajasthani art and culture. It is very clean. There are many options for refreshment. Staff is very gentle. You get trains to almost all cities of India.
