★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a beautiful spot at an altitude of abut 3140 meters above sea level. Tourists flock to this place for its cool climate and trek of Serolsar lake and Raghupur fort. There are lots of dhabas where you can get maggie, tea, coffee, snacks and delicious rajma-rice and kadhi-chawal. This place gets a lots of snow during winters and the pass gets closed for most of the winter months after heavy snowfall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had driven down to Tirthan from Delhi and from there we drove upto the Jalori Pass. The Jalori pass connects the Kullu region with Shimla, and is at an appropriate height of 10,300 ft. The entire drive is very scenic and one gets an excellent view of coniferous trees and mountain peaks.
The road is also not too bad, though it is broken at a few places.
The Jalori pass is the starting point for a trek to the Serolsar Lake. There is a kaali temple here and if one doesn’t want to trek, one can enjoy the view of the Dhauladhaar ranges . Remember to take your jacket along as it tends to be a little chilly, even if it is summer time.
There are a few shacks serving food, but sadly no toilets!
