★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner of this shop Mr.Gobinda Saha is my class mate, true business man, well behaved and devotee of Shri Shri Ramkrishna Paramhangsa Dev. He is having other Bastralaya including one of the best grocery Shop near earlier Narendra Cinema Hall in Dum Dum Gorabazar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look at the review photo. This beautiful lehenga that my girlfriend is wearing was bought from Jasoda Bastralay. Well, it's a very old and reputed Bastralay (a place that predominantly sells sarees and other Bengali cultural wears). I've bought sarees for my relatives and Punjabis for myself multiple times from here. Wearables here comes at different price ranges and their quality are good as well. Not just that, formals and casual wears are also available here. There are two Jasoda Bastralays. Both belongs to the same franchise owner. One is for Sarees only. In the other one, sarees are available on the first floor. The next floor is for formal wears, jeans, casuals and Chinos. High price range formal wears such as Allen Solly, Peter England, Xenburg are also available here as well as casuals from Polo and jeans from Levi's.
This is a really good one stop destination for shopping during Durga Puja or perhaps when you're out shopping for marriage ceremony wearables or ethnic wears. It provides good quality and also not heavy on the pockets unlike brands such as Manyavar.
Added to that, even belts, bags and umbrellas are available here. Some goodies and attractive discounts are also provided if a lot of shopping is done. Goodies include duffle bags, dinner sets, etc. as such. And discounts might include Rs.1000 or Rs. 2000 gift vouchers and other discount coupons. However these discounts aren't generally available during off seasons of sales.
But considering everything, I would definitely recommend anyone to shop in Jasoda.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No Trial Room, Bad Behaviour of the Staff, Showings dissatisfaction and annoyance to Customer, if customer not select any item to buy. Staff have no knowledge about size and pushing wrong size to customers. Customer have no option to try at trial room to verify the looks and size and unnecessary harassment and wastage money, time and energy of customer. Cost of the items are also at heigher end, stocks are also limited, variants are also less. Refund policy also worst I ever witnessed. Atleast I suggest men not to invest here for any dress except under ware.
