★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food at reliable prices.
We reached Burra Bazaar to do some shopping. That was quite early. Most of the shops were closed. This was open. We finished our breakfast and moved on.
The food provided is Fresh. Many different types of fast foods in the form of unhealthy breakfast is easily available. A variety of sweets and snacks are available.
I had taken kachoris and found them to be extremely tasty. Hot and fuming fresh. The chutney is on a different level. Food served on leaf plates. Looks good and tastes yummy. Dry kachiris and slithering away yellow chutney tastes amazing. But, you are charged for extra chutney.
One has got to stand on the road to finish eating. No space to sit inside the store.
As this place is located on a very narrow street, no place to park vehicles.
Washing before eating is essential these days of COVID. A washing area is available, no soap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there after reading an article Best Kachuri in Kolkata. You'll not struggle finding this shop even in the congested lanes of Bara Bazar.
Peyaj Kachuri is their most popular item but personally I found it extremely overhyped. It felt excessively dry, overdone burned spices hence lack in character. Flavors aren't very satisfying neither chutney tasted that great.
I've also tried few other snacks but none of them were impressive. According to me at Rs.20 per piece their Kochuris are quite expensive also you need to pay extra if you want to have more chutney.
They're just running by their old name, nothing else. There are thousand times better Kachories available in many lanes of Kolkata.
