★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an auditorium of the state government situated close to the state legislative assembly and state Secretariat. The place is always preferred by organizers for being in the heart of the city which is approachable by all. The auditorium is always packed with one program or the other and frequented by the visitors. The lack of ample parking space is a bit problem since the outer parking space is preoccupied by other people as well. The space inside the auditorium can also house a lesser number of people than Rabindra Mandap another auditorium close to it but it is enough to cater to several small gatherings.

An evening concert at Jayadev Bhavan will be a good idea to see the refined ways of one of India's most antiquated cities.
