The college is under the aegis of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University and is governed by the extant rules and regulations of education department of the local state Government.
The College was established by the late patriarch Sh. Madan Lal Shah, a (retired) lawyer to promote women education in rural and semi urban areas in and around Jhunjhunu.
