★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service, inhumilated behaviour, lack in service, i am a regular donor whenever they call i always donated blood 5 to 6 times bt when i needed the much they told me dat dis blood group blood is not available.. so it really very disgusting things no recommemdation for any star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I donated blood here at jivan jyoti 4 times, 3 times voluntarily n once on demand, staff is ok, last time I donated some 8-10 days back, this is covid 19 pandemic season, I did not observe proper cleanliness n sanitization. Bed or chair where we sit n donate blood was not clean, when I asked to clean it girl sprinkled sanitizer on bed but did not wipe it with cloth, she asked to sit on that dirty unwiped bed itself, one more thing is I always denied to accept the gift this bank offers after donation, but I took it earlier n given to my maid without checking it's quality, this time I checked that gift was a water bottle of local cello sticker on it. This bank is collecting blood free n we r donating willingly, we do not charge them, then why should this mgmt offering people such local things to free donor, I did not like this practise, very disappointed with such practise.either they offer good things or no one is asking them for such local things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a call from Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank sometime last year, wherein they requested for Platelets donation. I volunteered for it as they said that platelets is required for A+ve patient. While donating platelets got to know from their staff that Platelets can be donated by any blood group and donated platelets are accepted by all blood types. I then inquired from the staff that how many times they have donated platelets? Surprise! Surprise! no staff had donated platelets ever. I checked with them as to what is cost of platelets for the patient and again Surprise! Surprise! they sell these at INR 12000 to the hospitals and hospitals charge to patient even more.
I then checked that since I have donated platelets will I be eligible for free platelets in case if I ever require just like blood donation wherein we get same units of blood free what we donate. But again for platelets it is not free. Apparently they said that cost of machinery is to be involved and hence platelets cannot be given free to a person even if he / she donates it.
They still have audacity to call me for platelet donation. They just called me moments ago and when I checked with them as to why are their staff not donating platelets as it is non-blood group specific, they were out of answers and also gave lame answers like women cannot give platelets but did not speak about the reason why their male staff did not donate platelets either.
It leaves me to think that while I do a good deed by donating, these guys mint profit of this. Cost of taking out platelets is understandable and so is the cost of operations of blood bank but these guys charge for the "DONATED" platelets. Ridiculous!
My personal opinion - Any organisation / establishment functioning by profiting on donations are "Scroungers"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little bit care less. I donated blood volunteering. During pricking one person (male) penetrate vain so carelessly that needle come through other side of vain (not skin). It takes much more time for for donating blood than normal. Blood wad leaking inside the skin. And not coming through needle so they prick this time on my right hand. This time perfectly may be because this time one girl done this. My left hand was sweel for 2 days. And its been week my hand having red-purple mark.
