★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel food was totally bad. Food no taste at all. Vegitables and fried rice served got smell while eating.Waiter service was okk not so much good.dessert what we got was different of what we ordered.serving time took a lot we have to wait for next dish.overall its bad. Actually i dont want to give any star.

You can try all south indian dishes and maharashtrian dishes here.
Dalimbi Usal is awesome.
Pav Bhaji from Jeevan is again finger licking good...?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeevan located at vile parle east is one of the best Pure Vegetarian Multi Cusine restaurant specialising in Maharashtrian Cusine, South indian, Punjabi North Indian, Upwas Dishes, Chinese and much more.
Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Sabudana Wada, Corn Pattice, Chinese Dosa, Kotambir wadi, Lunch Thali and Breakfast Combo are must try.
The ambience is excellent, service is good and the presentation of food is awesome.
Overall it's a great place to visit with family and friends to have some great food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusted. When I walk into a veg restaurant I don't expect to be impressed (because veg), but at least the food should not make me feel like existential crisis. Everything from the starters to the main course chinese and indian tasted the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though the presentation was superb n when we visited it was totally packed n people were seen enjoying the food as its the oldest n the most famous eatery in vile parle. I would like to give second chance as I liked the food but still feels it can improve.

My entire family loves this place.
Good food, good people, good service, good hygiene, good quantity for moderate price.
It isn't a very fancy place. But very humble warm n feel good one. Specially after their renovations.
The menu card, has this interesting info, describing the entire journey n growth of Jeevan restaurant. Well, its a nice touch. Its scripted beautifully. It was heartfelt.
We have had several dishes here.
I recommend them all.

Cream of mushroom soup: it was nice n creamy. Quantity is just enough for one person. Right amount of salt cream and garlic. Loved it.
Masala poori: exactly how mom prepares at home. Freshly made. Not too blant not too spicy.
Tea: we love tea here.
Missal Pav: it was super yummy. Loved the plating as well
We have been visiting this place from almost 20years now...no specific complain as such.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka, breads, veg triple fried rice and veg manchurian. They provide decent food at a pretty reasonable price.
