★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeevan Bhima Nagar is 2 km (1.2 mi) from Indiranagar, 5 km (3.1 mi) from MG Road and just 500 m (1,600 feet) from the HAL Airport. It is well connected by BMTC buses from all parts of Bangalore.
Jeevan Bhima Nagar bus terminus is situated about 100 meters from the Jeevan Bhima Nagar main road on the road leading to Old Airport road. This terminus has been operational for over 2 decades. This is a medium sized terminus that can accommodate about 20 buses at any given time. There are eateries, shops, pharmacy within walkable distance from the bus terminus. There are also Vayu Vajra services to Airport from this bus terminus.
The bus terminus has two entrances with steps to enter. Ramps haven’t been provided for pedestrian entry but one can use the sloped entry from where the buses enter. There are a few shops in the complex. There is an office near the entrance from where you can buy monthly passes, get information about bus routes and timing. Washrooms are provided at the end for users and bus drivers. The absence of proper seating areas makes it hard for older people and people with luggage etc. There’s a shaded complex where people can wait.
The shops in the terminus - eatery, a Xerox shop and jewelry shop. Overall a well-maintained bus terminus.
