★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jatlamata ji temple has beautiful sculpture. More space outside the temple for parking.outside the temple there are many shops for traditional rajasthan items.it is just half kilometre from chittorgarh-kapasan highway.beautiful and powerful temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the greatest devotional place from the land of bravest and courageous tribe of India. Thier is belief that people get cure from many dieses and 'Pret-badha' who regularly visit here. One should see Cock fighting local dance thier. In older days thier use to be sacrifices thier but all had stopped due Jain influences. Must visit place during Navratri. It has beautifully Structured temple building. Many traditional shops are thier. Lot of parking space so you have not to worry about your vehicle. Easily accessible , autorickshaw are available at every 15 min. From kapasan choraya and Birla choraya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an opportunity to reside in close proximity to Pandoli village where the renowned Temple of Jhantla Mata exists . The temple is on the bank of a fresh water Pandoli Lake. The Temple is thronged by devotees 24/7. You are struck by the huge population of Cocks in the temple which are considered sacred. One normally carries or buys some feed for the birds like maize etc. The unique feature of this Temple that one comes across is that the circumambulation is done anticlockwise. I had always seen circumambulation being done clockwise in all temples. Patients suffering paralysis and experiencing paranormal activity are generally camped in the temple for getting solace & cure from the malice. The Devi is considered as the Mahisasurmardini form. She is supposed to be a Vatyakshini (Feminine power residing on the Vat Vraksh - Banyan Tree. There is a banyan tree under which there is a narrow passage between the stem & roots. Devotees consider it mandatory to pass through this root stem gateway for ensuring riddance from the disease.
