Not a mesmerizing but yes a soothing space to spend sometime. Low water level allows to enjoy picnic and outings at the location without having a risk. Open space, no crowd and despite having no security guards it felt safe to me at this perticular time. As far a facilities are concerned, you need to manage everything on your own, no shops no toilets or any essential may be because of this pandemic. Yes parking is there for free

Very beautiful place for hangout, picnic, or even a small date. Enjoy the scenery by sitting on the lap of mother nature. You will forget everything, every sorrow, anxiety... This place will calm you down. If you are looking for offbeat & underrated natural spots this one's a must visit. You will also get good quality photos here. Narrow roads so bike is preferred, & no shops nearby Before visiting you must keep it in mind This place is not taken care by proper administrator, so don't litter around Be a responsible tourist.

This is a very beautiful place. Let me just point out the pros and cons then you will understand why I have given 3 star. Pros: 1. First of all the place is situated in a remote place amid nature. You will find greenery all around. 2. The lake, the view of it will take away your bad mood. 3. This place can give you good number of photos for your DP. Cons: 1. Since this is not managed and monitored, a lot of local people come here and drink. Although I haven't seen them creating any nuisance still if you are a couple going there, you might feel uncomfortable. 2. Like always people have littered around. Trash will be found all over which actually is a very disturbing thing. Conclusion: It's definitely a place to go atleast once to witness the beauty of nature.

Went there recently for a picnic ,No reservations needed for pindis ,Scenic and peaceful ,The wind blowing over the water ,then through the trees and hitting you while you stand ashore the dam brings good vibes. Bikes a better option as the entrance is narrower. No shops nearby plan accordingly.

Jhumka Dam is the other minor irrigation project located close to Deras. This is located on the sanctuary boundary, thus there is no need of any permission from forest department to visit this place. This location is mostly used by locals and tourist groups for a picnic during December-January winter vacation schedule.

It is a nice destination as a weekend gateway. This place is quite and one should go there during sunrise or sunset for getting the best experience out of there. There is no entry and parking fees. I will surely recommend this place to visit at least once.
