After the freedom of India this college made a important role for the development in educational field of Buldana district. This college is recognised for Doctor of philosophy in English, History, Chemistry, Zoology, Commerce and Marathi subjects by the Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University. This college runs Junior college in Arts, Commerce, Science and Higher secondary Vocational course. Graduation in Arts, Commerce, Science. Post graduation in Economics, English, Marathi, Music, Chemistry and Commerce.
Jijamata Mahavidyalaya is accredited by NAAC in B grade. It has got 23 acres area. Library with large number of books, Up-to-date laboratories, Large playground with well equipped Gym hall, NCC and NSS for students. Newly constructed girls hostel with all facilities.
The faculty is well qualified and experienced dedicated in teaching work.
