For JK Lakshmi Cement, the business priorities coexist with the commitment to identify the needs of the surrounding communities and to systematically develop and adopt an effective CSR approach to implement multiple interventions in the surrounding region of our business and plant locations, in order to make a sustainable impact. The company also identifies vulnerable groups in the product supply chain like truck drivers, loaders, masons and petty contractors and undertakes social benefits projects for them. The Vision of the Company CSR is, “To strengthen community relationship and to bring sustainable change in quality of life of neighborhood community through innovative solutions in Education, Health, Livelihoods and Community Development”.
The major CSR thrust areas of the organization are Health; Water & Sanitation; Education; Skill development and Livelihoods; and Community Development. Our community CSR projects are in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Odisha and approximately cover a population of over 1.70 lakh.
The company has a team of CSR specialists based at our corporate office and factories who closely work with the neighboring community and design and deliver CSR projects. CSR activities initiated by JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. have benefited the people living in various villages.
