And yes it's one of the best picnic spots too in southern flanks of Kolkata and the roads are also well maintined. Only problem is there are no transport facilities. So you are surely gonna take your bike and revv down the streets to the Joka Birding Area.

You can go here from Tollygunge metro, where you can find direct bus to this place. No metro route is available till now because the new metro is under construction. It is a good place for birding.
