★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joshi Wadewale is one of the famous food chain in Pune.They are famous for their wadpav but now have a big menu list.We tried Mango Lassi which was for 40.It was good to have but as comparison with others at same price I would not prefer this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Below average as compared to other outlets of Joshi Wadewale. Service is quite slow. Not many seats to sit. Tried Misal Pav, turned out to be very bad. Extremely spicy. Chai was ok ok types. They could be better. Im sure there are other eateries offering better taste and service nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great taste. They have a Sitting area as well with a small tea Corner under a big tree. The smell of that Tea under a shadow of that huge old tree just holds you there for a few extra minutes for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joshi Wadewale is a big name in Pune. Having read about it on various food and travel websites made me coax my reluctant father to stop over at this place while travelling from Mahabaleshwar to Pune.
We reached there by about 4:15 pm. By then there were a few patrons, barely enough to fill 2-3 of the many tables it has. This is a no frills self service place and hardly has any ambience to boast of.
We then placed our order-
Me and Mummy settled for the wadapav while daddy asked for the Wada Sambhar.
The Wada did have a distinct taste of its own but was just too spicy for my liking. The spice overpowered whatever flavour it had. Certainly didn't live upto all the hype about it.
The Sambhar on the other hand tasted rather sweet and went back unfinished.
After all this disappointment my brother decided to go for a sundae at the ice cream counter attached to this place. And it turned out to be good to my surprise.
