I'm writing this matter not to bring down the person managing this business, but to make aware to others the problems I have faced.i am typing this down in the most honest and unbiased manner I can. Five years ago my experience with Mr. Joe Lewis was quite different. He was much more composed and knew how to go about works or orders of a special nature. Though priced higher even at that time (Rs. 10,500) I went ahead with the printing my wedding card, as I had myself designed the card. Now, 6 years later my brother and I went to place another special order for his wedding card. However, this time round our experience was extremely bad. First up, I handed him a beautiful or rather a finished prototype of the card done by the "Xerox" cetres at Andheri station along with the soft copy pdf files all created and designed to the finish. Mr. Lewis then said to us that to even iniate a sample print we would need to pay him atleast 60% of the total printing cost. We saw the other sample paper and the envelopes and chose a couple of them for sample print. The next day he called up telling us the final price of the card: Rs. 18,000/-. The next day my brother transferred Rs. 9000/- to his account after getting his details. This is due to the fact that we had a problem with cash due to demonetization. After transferring he said he would initate the sample and called us on the Saturday next. After going there we saw that the sample was just a normal simple paper printout. I explained to him then that "our" sample was better than this and we were looming forward to the actual material chosen. Our sample anyway got misplaced according to him. But he asked us to come some other time tonsee the near final version. I also relised that the sample print given by Joy Cards was not looking alright as they imported our pdf into Corel Draw and then hit a print. After that I reworked it in Corel and sent across all the final files again and asked for a sample. The next sample we collected was on the paper we had chosen. But the were errors and besides the material wasnt all that good looking. My brother decided to cancel the order as we were not satisfied with the samples and decided to pay the cancellation fee which is Rs. 1000/-. When speaking on the phone with him the next day about the cancellation he started telling that he has already purchased the material and we would need to bear that cost as well. Not only was it surprising but it was cheating. He said he would work that out and let us know the total cost on that. And whenni said that it was unfair on his part to charge us for all that he began saying he is very busy and doesnt have time for all this and cut the line in the most arrogant manner. Still I never spoke badly to him or use foul language or insult him as he is a senior man. Even after calling him again he kept saying "I dont have time for this nonsense". And that he would chrage us for the material come what may. We again tried talking sense into him asking when did we ever sign or ask you to go ahead? He didnt have answers and again said i dont have time for all this. Finally, we have no option now but to take the help of the law. Not because of the money. But more because of the way he is arrogantly bullying polite people and eating away our hard work. There is no justification for such a behaviour. All said and done we are still praying for him so that God somehow may show him the right path. We have decided still to not show any anger or lose our composure. But still find justice in a peaceful manner. We are approaching the police in the next few days to get the matter be sorted. Hope this ends well. Not a good experience though.

The place is nice, good content and material for card designing. You dnt get a color printed sample for proof reading(this is because they get their printing done elsewhere) . I got navy blue instead of royal blue. I placed a 12k order and at the time of delivery was given only a single bag whc could fit half my cards and I had to buy one from dardar station whc was again a frustrating thing. Anyways the staff is friendly and delivery is timely. But i would try another place next time. Not really recommended unless if you want to skipp the trip to town. You could try another shop in the same building.

This is to let you know that it has been brought to our notice that you are MARKETING and SELLING my wedding card designed without informing us which was personalised and a lot of effort has gone behind the same. We have got to know that you have kept it in your display album and are charging customers 8500/- for 100 cards and extra cost for printing This is completely unacceptable as this card has NOT been designed or created by JOY cards and you have NO right to sell our design to any customer just because we had shared the raw files with you only for Printing purposes. As you can see in the trailing email. The designs were sent to you only for PRINTING with all specifications mentioned and JOY cards has not contributed in the designing whatsoever and you have NO right to use our designed card and call it your own design and fool the customers. Request you with IMMEDIATE EFFECT to take out our Personalised and designed card from your album and not sell our design or card In future. If this continues, we will be forced to take a strict action against JOY cards and will take this up on social media as well as file a case for using our designs and calling it your own PS- In future, contribute and make your own designs and sell them at such hefty cost, don’t rob someone else’s designs which have been personalised and made with a lot of effort and meaning to each and every element used. For customers please best in mind...the card reads as JUELLA AND WALTER CARDOZ...pls don't be fooled by them

The Experience was horrible. I had a Customized card for my wedding which I wanted Joy Cards to Print, since I had received a good feedback from my Elder Brother for his wedding card, I approached him. His policy was to take 60% advance even to show a sample of how the card would look. I therefore had to oblige and told him to make a sample based on the softcopy file I had sent him, after a few days he showed me how the wedding card would look like, and I was disheartened looking at the Sample, since the address mentioned had fonts overlapping each other (Basic Error), and let's not forget this is a sample based on which I would give him the final order, the folds on the card had white cracks and lines, the quality itself didn't look worth 20 rupees per card. The material too looked average and I felt it was not worth rupees 112 per card, which is the cost he was charging. I therefore decided to cancel my order and I told him I would pay the penalty as mentioned on his bill (Rupees 1000 for cancellation of special orders) However the Owner (who seems to be a little over 70yrs. of age) tells me I have already purchased the material of the card and I would charge you that as well. The total amount he planned to cut from my advance was rupees 4000 for the 9000 rupees I had given him, on questioning him that I did not confirm my order, he mentions that he does not have time to argue and that I can do whatever I want but he will only give me back rupees 5000. All I would say is think twice before going to Joy Cards, his customer service is pathetic, he does not have the basic etiquette leave alone business skills to talk to his customers and to add to it, he cheated me on forcing me to pay for the material, without me even confirming the total order.

Terrible. The quality of work was pathetic. We had selected a simple card but still it turned out to be useless. It was not worth the price we paid. Mr. Joy is rude and has no customer service etiquette. For any feedback that we give, he will refuse to accept his mistake and instead blame us. He kept telling us that they dont have time to pay attention to an order and we are wholly responsible for the final cut. At the end of the day, the quality of the cards and envelopes were absolutely rubbish. I recommend you to not waste your time and money.

Attitude... Arrogance.... No value for customers time, we just sat and waiting for owner to come as... They are customer, staff nicely wasted our time for showing cards and said ma'am will come and tell you rate of cards, and when owner comes she said this will be too costly for you as if she judge by looking at us.... She then gave choices like you choose this and that , if she wants to gave her idea/opinion; then why to ask customer to choose the card.... Just waste of time of customers ...... When you call them to ask if printing is done they simply said call on landline no.? As if his mobile was far away from his office landline no, in same office ..... No manners to talk to customers. One star for quality of Printing... -4 for attitude of owners.

We have got our wedding card printed there. They do laser printing and have variety of cards available. It is at Dadar station. The service is excellent. They will provide all types of card. You can also show any online card you have get get them printed.
