Good picnic spot. Good location. But dare not go with your private car from the raipur side. Very narrow and dangerous high road along the Ganga. From raipur side to that place there is a 30 feet trough on either side. If u r not an expert driver or if u r unfortunate you may slide and fatal accident will occur. However if u take the burul road via dongaria or amtala road it is safer.

Nice place, at river bank, lots of greenery and fresh air. But very Long distance from main city, broken roads, heavy traffic very narrow way to the entrance. Catering service was pathetic food was not tasty nor healthy.

Excellent place for picnic. Situated on the bank's og river Hooghly which gives it's charm. Only 30 km away from kolkata city center though the road from thakurpukur bazar is not that good still after rea ching the spot one will forget about that. The place has lot of open spaces and parking is easy.

We were there for fish fest. The place is good with a scenic beauty of Ganges and vessels and boats are passing by adds beauty to the place. There is facility of toilet both indian and western. There is a room with a bed and separate kitchen. The place is on the main road and one can have local conveyance.

It is a place where U can enjoy the nature just by watching the water flowing thru river Ganga . With high tide water flows in from Bay of Bengal and reverses after the tide is over . The water level rises almost 7feet with the tide. For some period , we watched the river bed splits in to two with water flowing in two different directions , unbelievable! In between some ships pass thru and the waves hit the banks adds to It's beauty. It is a place where U can sit for hours and talk to yourself !
