★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a place in J.S.S. ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION and serves as an incubator for many start-ups. It also provides internship opportunities to the students of the college as well as job opportunity to the interested candidates in the field of start-ups. The ambience is great and is one of the best things of the college. There are hardly any colleges that provide such a facility as this. JSS STEP is really a step towards success.
The best part of JSSATE STEP (Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park) is that it started in 2000 with support from National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) & Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The incubator was envisioned to foster entrepreneurship and innovation to make the Startup ecosystem stronger.
The support staff and equipment are made available at low rent to new small businesses. Even if you just have an idea you can bring it up and talk to the people sitting here to take it forward and turn your dream into reality.
It is located behind the Academic Block - 3 in the campus right in front of the water tank. The JSS library is situated just below it. It is an extension of the JSS Bengaluru branch.
