★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very neat and clean station. There is where you’d alight to visit sacred Girnar mountain, the abode of temples and the Girnar ropeway (Udan Khatola). Junagadh is situated midway between Somnath and Rajkot and is an important district. It was the main district covering Veraval and Somnath before Gir-Somnath district was carved out of it. The new civil general hospital (GMERS) is very near to it.
