β β β β β Kabi Joydeb Mahavidyalaya was established in 2007.The college named after legendary poet 'Joydeb' who had composed Gita Govinda in Sanskrit.The college is affiliated to the university of burdwan.The College is situated near Sukhbazar Chowpahari which is just 17 kilometers away from Bolpur.

β β β β β Newly established rural college situated in a calm quite lush green environment, and on the side of the main village rood, infrastructure and buildings are not good enough,but campus is vast with adjoining playground. The college is at present imparting knowledge and education to the students of Bachelor degree Arts course and the course is affiliated to the Burdwan University. The college campus is accessible to all sorts of vehicles through the main gate.

β β β β β Well, I got a Bachelors degree from the very same college in 2014. I remember the batch which passed in 2011. I did not see any batch better than that in the 4 years I spent there. During my time there were only 11 out of some 450 eligible students who could get a job in TCS in pool campus and in a handful in IBM and Tech Mahindra, that too in pool.
After I left the college , it gained a lot of notoriety and found place in news headlines . The faculty and staff of the college (including the HOD of my dept who was one of the few things the college could have boasted about) went on a strike and resigned due to mismanagement by the higher officials. I consider that to be the end of that college.
I donβt have much idea about how things are now. My humble suggestion to anyone would be to study harder and get a place in some better institute.
