Kabul can be considered as one of the best place to have authentic Afghani cuisine. Special chicken agdha is a must try. They often promote Afghani naan which taste like wheat bread, but my favorite combination is special agdha with mulauwa. They need to focus more on service now.

Kabul Restuarant is a gem in Khondwa , situated opposite to RC Kitchen. This place won't let you down, it has a variety of selections in its menu - which are recipes of Afghan tradition including authentics like Kabuli pulao, mandi, shami kebab etc. Obviously serves beef , recipes taste great and price is reasonable too. I talked to regulars and they strongly recommend the Chicken/Beef Agda with some khameeri roti. This place is a must visit , I would eat the menu but some other day ! ? In the picture, Mutton Chopan kebab and Beef Afghani Tikka.

The special chicken akda with afghaani naan is a MUST have! This dish needs to get the recognition it deserves! The seekh kebabs are tasty but not exceptional. You can get these at a number of places out there... The mandi rice was a bit hard ( some people prefer it that way ), I personally am more biased towards soft and long grained rice but combine that with chicken kebabs ( non spicy ) and it’s magic! Do not forget the tomato puree they serve with the mandi rice.. Even though we’d gone to this place at an odd time, the owner was humble enough to make the seekh for us. The naan served was not hot, hopefully this won’t happen the next time... humble and very patient staff...
