Some of the sweets have short shelf life, warranting their early consumption, while others can be kept on the shelf for longer periods. Many of them can be gifted in attractive packings, to express feelings of the giver's fraternity and goodwill towards the receiver. The savories of many types, range from being highly hot and chilly to being moderately so, serve as tasty evening light refreshments, accompanying a cup of well-brewed tea/coffee.
Prices are moderate and comparable with those prevalent. Kaka Halwai Sweets is located in a prime locality of Pune, and is accessible quite easily.
It is one among the "must-to" places for sweetening the tongue and savouring the spirit, with the wallet becoming not too light!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason i am giving 2 stars for this shop is because of the sweets of Kaka halwai, otherwise this shop has no respect for customer service.
I asked kaju katli and kaju roll to taste to see if they were fresh(I always taste because of earlier bad experience from this very shop itself).
The person gave only kaju kalti to taste and denied kaju roll for tasting saying we do not give kaju roll to taste. That was a pretty stupid answer because I have always tasted and brought kaju roll from other Kaka halwai stores too.
This sweets were meant to be given to a close family member and I did not risk giving stale sweets, so went off to Aundh's Kaka halwai(had to drive additional 4-5 kms) and brought what I wanted.
The only reason I go to this shop is because it's closer to house. But given an option I will always prefer to go to the branch in Aundh to bring sweets.
P.S I wrote all this using my cellphone immediately after buying sweets from aundh. Also this is not the first time that this has happened. Just imagine my level of frustration from this.

Staff service is not good.

Range of sweets is good. Staff is okay.
Location of the shop is good which attracts many customers. But, as in case of Mawa Katli, the quality needs to be leveled up.
