★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heaven for lovers of Biryani & Awadhi cuisines. This place offers traditional biryani cooked in masalas sourced from the traditional places. Their claim to fame is also using original Kesar - Saffron in food. The owners family lineage dates back two centuries and that's the secret to the their recipes.
Relatively small place, easy to miss while passing by at first sight. Must try for all Biryani Lovers. Also offers some traditional desserts like Shahi Tukda in this pic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a little overpriced compared to the quantity you get, but quality wise I have no qualms. The kakori kabab is soo soft that it literally melts in your mouth. It's really one of the best I have had and would suggest to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small restaurant. They claim to make the best of Kakori kababs. Honestly speeking I didn't like it at all. Very expensive food....though where ingridents supposed to have saffron....I felt like artificial essence were induced.... I personally prefer the feel of meet in kababs. Kakori kababs are just paste. You dont know whether is half chicken, and other half of potato, papaya.

One has to appreciate and like good Food. They may be fine with the pricing the rest may find it expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried some Kakori Kebab, Galawti Kebab and some Chicken kebab.
It' was the first time that I was tasting Kakori Kebab but it was just like I had heard it should tasted.
Galawti kebab just like its name melted in mouth.
Chicken kebab was good too.
I didn't like the plating much. The place was small and good. Service was good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a 3.5 from me.. additional 0.5 star goes for the Biryani..
I liked Lakhnavi Biryani the most amongst all the other dishes I tried.. Their Shirmal was microwave heated.. Galauti Kebab was bit spicy. I didn't much like the Kakori Kebab.. little expansive but overall it was a good experience..
Suggestion: They should really stop using microwave for serving shirmals or any parathas for that matter..

We had kakori kabab, galawti kabab and mutton barra lazeez
All 3 were different in taste and excellent
Authentic Awadhi cuisine in mumbai
1 negative star because no digital payment or card was accepted and we were not presented with a bill
But happy with the food and though it’s super expensive it’s worth every Penny spent it
